💡 I established the advisory firms Montlhéry and Volt Chem℠, which specializes in electrochemistry. My expertise lies in identifying innovative process technologies and expanding their market adoption within heavy industries and energy operations.
⭐ As of July 2024, I work exclusively for WesTech Engineering / Swire Water.
💼 With over a decade of experience in the energy and water industries, I have been fortunate to work with industry leaders and develop a wide professional network. I began my career in the industrial division of Austin Industries Texas’ largest general contractor, based in their Houston Ship Channel office, surrounded by the most densely industrialized area in America. From 2015 to 2020, I held several positions at De Nora, a leading provider of equipment, systems and solutions for water treatment, as well as a leader in essential hydrogen technologies.
🌎 My international reach extends through networks in Mexico City, Mexico; São Paulo, Brazil; Cairo, Egypt; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Marseille, France; Perth, Australia; Kingston, Jamaica; Georgetown, Guyana; Barbados; U.S. Virgin Islands.
🏛 I earned a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and B.A., with honors from the University of California Los Angeles. I'm a legacy graduate of Midland School.
🎙️ I create livestream spaces that bring together thought leaders to exchange insights on innovations and strategies in the energy and resource sectors. I've completed a few media projects, most recently EnergyPolls.org to engage with industry trends. I founded the largest unofficial UCLA alumni business network with nearly 10,000 members.
⚖️ Our family's cattle ranch co-operative is currently engaged in a multi-generational battle with the state of California, and recently obtained preserve status following years of dedicated conservation efforts by our community.
🖤 I've supported projects with various organizations, including Valley Sailing, Becket, Engineers Without Borders - SBV Chapter, Bach Society Houston, Sherlock Holmes Society of Houston (inducted 2013), Cascade Energy & Resource Professionals (Bend, Oregon).
👨👩👧👦 When I'm not running Montlhéry I'm a Business Dad raising our 4 children with Mrs. Sawyer and enjoying the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.
